Fat Binders: Weight Loss Pills |

Obesity is a serious health problem in the United States and in other parts of the world. Being overweight can lead to a shorter life expectancy thanks to diseases – heart disease, diabetes, etc. – and a reduced quality of life because of physical discomfort caused by that extra weight the body was never intended to carry around.
Even though we know being overweight is dangerous, losing weight is a challenge. Most of us don’t wan to give up our delicious favorite foods. Thanks to fat binders we may not have to anymore.
How the Body Digests Fat
When you eat something high in fat, such as a greasy cheeseburger, your body handles it initially the way it would almost anything else you consume. The food first has to be broken down into its smaller components so it can move through the body.
Once the food is broken down, the fat is turned into the energy the body needs to keep running. However, most of us consume more fat than our bodies need. The question is what happens to all of that excess fat.
The body does have fat cells where the fat can be stored until it is needed. Once those cells fill up, then the body has two choices: make more fat cells quickly or expand the ones that already exist. Either choice ends up creating the physical condition we recognize as obesity.
Unfortunately, once those fat cells are created they cannot be eliminated. However, they can be shrunk as the body begins to use all of that stored fat as energy.
The Role of Fat Binders
Fat binders are chemicals, usually made from natural sources that enter the body and act like magnets for those molecules of fat. Before the fat can be sent through the body, the fat binders attach to the molecules and make them too large to fit into the small intestine where they would have been processed before leaving for storage in those fat cells or being converted as energy.
Instead, all of those fat molecules have no choice but to leave the body like the rest of the unneeded waste that we eliminate on a daily basis.
What Fat Binders Accomplish
Fat binders provide a number of benefits for people who are trying to lose weight and to make other lifestyle changes. For example, since the excess fat is excreted from the body it isn’t left to create new or expand existing fat cells. That means you don’t have to worry about getting larger.
Fat binders help in another way, too. Because they prevent the fat you eat from being converted into energy, your body will begin to use up that stored fat. In this way, you’ll reduce your body’s fat content and start seeing visible weight loss.
Additionally, fat binders make it easier for most of us to get healthier. They allow us to eat the foods we enjoy so we don’t feel as if we’re giving anything up, yet they allow us to shed those unwanted pounds effectively.
